wsdavies-

What do you think about McGee Creek to the McGee Lakes area on the Eastern side? There's Big McGee Lake there as a goal too.

Sunday Peak looks appealing because of the shorter drive and the terrain, but if it would be okay I'd like to propose McGee Creek. Snow Nymph is up for it and she say's the area is incredible. I've seen the photos too.

Whadaya say?

Speaking of beer... I challenge each and all to beer drinking contest. Most beer consumed in a 48 hour period wins a pepsi can stove from me... and a six pack.

Cinco de Mayo
Boy!!!Can't even get a gang together for a weekend because we all have to work wknds. Lifes a #&%!$ and then ya go backpacking! I see no complaints for 3pm at Sudswerks in Davis on Cinco de Mayo so thats where I'll plan to sit myself. With a little luck I can get Kent and his wife to come too. I wish OM was on the west coast too. If you need a DD Pepperdog mines comming with me or heck we can just get you a cab homie.

I'll ride my bike and drink as much as I want!!! I know you can get a ticket for biking while intoxicated (and we all know that the Davis Police have nothing better to do) but I think I can hold it together long enough to get home!

pantscandy, that's the Schaeffer philosophy. Remember their slogan? "The one beer to have when you're having more than one." Translation: it's #&%!$ty beer, but if you're just going to get pounded the taste doesn't matter that much.

I had a feeling this might be a beer thread. How about that SN Pale Ale on a hot day?

Watch out PepperDog... a friend of mine got busted in Florida for riding his bike while under the influence --- but Florida is a most peculiar place, as recent history has shown, <G>.

Just about any beer is great on a hot day. The true test of a good beer is one you drink in December and think is good!
