hiking vacations

“can anyone give me ideas of places to go on vacation and hike.... I have been up and down the east coast. I just want somewhere different this summer!”

“That's a little vague. Do you mean backpacking? Or do you want dayhikes? Do you want to camp or stay in town and hike in the area? Are you willing to fly? How long do you have? A week, two, a month? There are SO MANY possibilities. Our plans for the next few years - (God willing and our feet hold up) include Montana - the Canadian Divide - Alaska - Washington Cascades, back to Colorado . . .
If we had more money, we would include New Zealand, Nepal, Greece, Switzerland, Peru . . .
So many trails, so little time.”
