They used to be quite popular around Stone Mountain. You'd think the ones with any sense would keep it under wraps but some like to 'advertise'. The blowhards just can't keep their mouths shut.

Oh man...well had a hike planned for this weekend. New woman in life decided she wanted to go visit her "EX". Now this is the guy who just used her like a rented mule. But apparently he called and cried and said he was sorry.

On the good side, I was finishing up at the weight room last night and was talking to some friends about the hike. One of the girls there mentioned she enjoys day hikes but has no one to go with....just got off phone and it looks like a go.

She is bringing her two daughters I plan to set up the GPS so they can play and search for locations with it.

I am guessing the solution is to stop hittin the duck with a hammer. But maybe that is too simple.

As a rule dating, expectations etc does suck big time. Kids on the hike mean, I gotta do some entertaining. It will be fun, granted the scare is that DAD wants to come along. Hell his daughter is 42 LOL but he wants to hike too.

The kids ought to be plenty entertained by the rocks, sticks, puddles and skeery animals, don't ya think? Or are they too old for that to be exciting?

What FUN! The hike was a blast, grampa decided not to go and the kids had a blast. Talked about a lot of stuff, she has been through the ringer of life and come out with a good outlook.

The kids are a scream thanks to two GPS units they were able to have a little Geocache search on their own.

BOULDER, Colo. – Police say a Colorado woman wrapped her boyfriend's dog in packing tape and stuck the animal upside down to a refrigerator because he wouldn't get rid of it.

Heartbreak stories
Just the other day I have been chatting with a friend. She told me her latest heartbreak story. I was so sorry for her it didn’t work out the way it should have. In return I told her my Heartbreak Of The Month story. So we commiserated a bit and laughed a bit. Man, why is so difficult to find that One? My friend laughed about me and said she would keep an eye out for a guy that just fits my description and if she finds him, she’ll catch him, bundle him up and send him my way…backpack and all. :-)

Today another friend called in, to let me know that a good friend of mine got her first baby today. I am so excited and happy for her. When she told me about her pregnancy last year I was honestly jumping with joy. She wanted it, she soo deserved it and yet it’s a little wonder. I have been with this friend when she went through some incredibly hard times and the suckiest relationship stories. I am so glad it worked out for her. We, the friend who just had told me that mother and baby are doing well, kept talking for a while. Suddenly he made a little nonchalant comment, that at first slipped my attention, but then I said, hey wait, what do you mean with that? Turns out he is sitting there and thinking, how it would be if this were his baby, that it should be his baby and not that of another man…
My other friend had told me that there had been a short lived fling between the two of them, but it had been her who bailed out. She never trashed him, never talked badly about him, never rubbed it in on him. And he seemed to be the perfect gentleman about it too. They stayed friends and still are. I thought that’s lucky. Now his comment reveals, he’s still hurting for her. Not that he is resenting that she found her happiness. Not at all. He’s still every bit the gentlemen about it. It just hurts him to see what could have been, what it might have been like. Him and her and the baby. After all those years, it still hurts.
I thought that was bitter sweet. The happiness for the one causes so much grief to the other. It hurt me to see him so hurting. Dating sucks, eh?
You know what I mean? There’s your ex, the one you had a crush on, and they are doing all the wonderful things that you’d loved to do with them, that you had dreamt of all the while.

SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. -- A Spotsylvania man's family turned him in to police after he admitted to "fooling around" with the family dog, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office.

Robert John Ward, 66, was arrested Monday for alleged bestiality. Deputies began investigating Ward after a family member called authorities with the allegation.

Ward admitted to a deputy that he had touched the dog inappropriately and that he'd had the dog perform sexual acts on him, according to the sheriff's office.

A vet examined the dog and found that her anal glands were swollen, the sheriff's office said.

The accusing relative said the dog had been acting strange for several weeks.

Ward's being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
