I have puyt on the turtle neck, taken it off, put it on, taken it off.

My hair now looks like #&%!$.

Can I get some consensus here????

How about a turtle neck under an open neck flannel shirt??

Of course . . our first date will have to be in a beer freezer

Liz ---

Uhm . . ..why were you tanning to go to cumberland island?

For anyone special????

LOL...you can't please everyone...you have to pick one person and try to please her.

personally I love a hairy guy...don't care if he's bald...love facial hair

and a best first date for me would be hiking. comfortable, and you see what the guy's made of right off the bat!

Turtlenecks are seasonal at best. I don't think 'assurance' as anything to do with wearing one either unless of course you like showing THO's.

Bl. jeans are still too casual and denote to some a gritty appearance to some. Never wear jeans on a 1st date. The same goes for 'sneakers' unless of course you are expecting to run.

Stove,,,,ZanZabar's (sic) are what you really need at your age. They can be dropped in a hurry for BM's and other pant dropping activities.

Got any wide wale corduroys? If not get some,, they may even make them in Zanze style. Its a classy look that will go good with THO showing turtlenecks and patterned or non button downs.

SS... Wear whatever, dude. Be YOU!!

gals... Tell the truth. If a guy "broke" whatever ya think of as your fashion rules, would ya ditch him right away? Or kinda say, "oh... this would look really nice." Or what? Curious here.. lol

hmmm strattyloop, well as you might recall, the pink thingy was left in a rather strange way after gojo's roadtrip visit. LOL!! I might have to send it to one of those "steam and re-sanitize" places. THEN, we'll talk dehydrating. LOL! Yes, wouldn't that be great?? Just add a little water on the ole backpacking trip and **POOF** pink thingy back to shape for a restful, if wet, night.

LMAO!!!

hmmmm... I suppose I'll have to ditch the down bags for the fake stuff then, hmmm??? Wet down ain't good!

'loop,,, did you say waxed broad or board????

Man,,,you got that all wrong,,did Wonder Woman have blond hair?,, 2/3's of the Charlies Angle's weren't blond,,and the only blond on the island was Mrs. Howell (shiver).

I like to keep it in the same phenotype at least,,,it makes arguing over hairs in the tub drain much easier.

Black does go with everything. And BR lol, don't wear the turtleneck in August. No wonder you guys get hot. It's the assurance that's attractive, not necessarily the turtleneck.

I wouldn't say fashion faux pas would lead me to ditch a guy with two exeptions:

1. Make an effort to be neat and put together on a date. Doesn't have to be fancy or really fashionable. But show some thought.
2. Pocket protecters are a no no. White socks unless with sneakers second to pocket protecters.

thanks roam! don't put it past me - one of my favorite outfits was striped pants and flowered shirt.

I have no fashion sense or whatever, so don't listen to me. My mom used to battle with me when I was a kid cause I just wanted to wear my favorite clothes, and had no care as to what color or pattern they were. I remember one favorite shirt - a zip shirt of purple corduroy with yellow cuffs. My mother HATED that shirt and was always hiding it on me, LOL!

Its a plastic thing that keeps pens from leaking in your front pocket...

are slide rules out too?
Whats wrong with black socks?

I never wear anything but jeans or shorts....

Blue jeans and a pull-over are standard for most "dress-up" occaisions....
