coulda been a situation where she was so hammered and didn't remember all the events that took place during yer date. Sounds to me like she's a seasoned pro and you might want to reconcider paying for her drunkfest again.

However, I guess the end all, be all for another date would be whether you were gonna get laid or not. If you make an investment like that night, you'd like to see a return. If you did get laid after all that, then forget everything I have said and call her now to set up another appointment.

"The girl then needs to check out a bar she used to bartend at."

Um, this would have been my first indication of irrationality.

Buddha Bear...run for your life! If she acts like that on one of your first dates, it only gets worse. It's like that Volkwagen (Passat) commercial. "... and when you meet Becky...run!"

Buddha Bear...you don't date bartenders cause you can easily be replaced at any given moment. You don't date women with children cause you will never really truly be better than the ex. You don't date religious women cause your friends will have a hard time understanding her. My suggestion is to find a woman who was married, had an affair with another woman, and is now back to men.

Heck, we've been seeing each other for a month, w/everything going smoothly. She's a pretty cool chick, so this was kind of a shocker. She's got a one year old, which has somethiong to do with it I guess.

Unfrigginbelievable.

"Question: Are all women completely irrational?"

Heck no. If it wasn’t for my wife I’d be a mess.

BB, maybe you need to rethink what you are looking for. You seem to pick the worst ones out. Look at the ones you have dated and see what the common denominator has been and change that. Of course this is coming from a guy who hasn't dated in 23 yrs.

Empathy, to be or not to be, that is the question.

Opinions and solutions, guys you can save those along with the 'I told you so' statements. And you wonder who has the selective hearing.

him: 'What did you say, honey? Sure I would like a sandwich.'

her: 'you're such an ass'

him: 'toasted!! that would be great'

her: 'you're unphuckingbelieveable'

him: 'thanks'

I have to agree with Ewker, Brother Bear. Maybe you are not seeing the real thing the first few weeks of enamorment, and then all of a sudden she does something too bizarre to ignore. Honestly there are plenty of guys out there who are just as irrational. Only some ladies get good at spotting them and avoid them. You need to work on spotting the flaky behavior early on, and also work on spotting the logical, rational ladies. Maybe logical and rational aren't traits that capture your attention when you first meet someone.

I can match any crazy woman story with a crazier man story I just dont even bother to date anymore

Two ways to look at it:

IF it were a first date (which it wasn't), I'd say she was trying to ditch ya... to make you leave her.

BUT... OH AND YOU WON'T LIKE THIS ONE..... If you've been dating a month, maybe she is sooooooooo comfortable with you now that she's being herself. Good for her. But you don't like that self. LMAO!!

See now, myself, I'm just my mean, old, nasty joke, non-cooking, slobby self with a bad attitude (but I *can* be fun, she said, flashing a smile and giving a hearty laugh). I'm not into games.

So Buddha, are you being you? Or are you playing some role you think a chick will like?

Oh yeah, my point above was, like me for me... cuz I am who I am (sound like Popeye, don't I??) and I'm about 98% sure I'm not changing.. LOL!

Much better to establish all that right off. I can't believe the games people play in dating. Egads!! Why would you want to be what someone else wants when it's not really you?
