So I have a meeting scheduled today at noon with a superintendent in one of my school districts. When I arrive, the Board Treasurer approaches me and says "Hey, it's the celebrity." I'm like, you've gptta be kidding! He says his secretary wants to meet me, and that her daughter is best friends with this Sarah girl.

AFter my meeting, I'm mobbed by 5 ladies, sizing me up like the first wallaye catch of the year. It turns out that my future date was the maid of honor for the secretary's daughter, and they had been emailing back and forth for the past 2 hours about me. When she asks to take a picture, I make up an excuse to bolt (politely of course), and, on the way out, one of the other secretary's who was pretty cute and in her late 20's, slips a card in my pocket, and subtly says "If it doesn't work out, call me."

Unfrigginbelieveable, I feel like the flaovor of the week, and am lovin' every minute of it. I only hope that my date for tomorrow night doesn't listen to that radio show....
