Dating sucks

“I might've posted this before, can't remember, but stuff like this keeps me happily single...

Back along I had posted a story about meeting a friend's boyfriend...(I called them P&R...she met him via the Internet and he lives out of state, they've been together for about a year)

One day P e-mailed me about fishing, as R wanted to go smelting. She cc'd him. We chatted back and forth, and before long I realized that P's name was no longer on the e-mails. P had complained about her cousin A e-mailing him, so I told her about it. She said no problem, she wasn't the jealous type, and I was a good friend for talking fishing with him.

Soon I find that R is emailing me every day, 20 times or so...chatty stuff. I don't mind at first, but soon most of his chat is sexual innuendo...like telling me he's horny and how he can satisfy any woman - stuff I don't need to hear from my good friend's boyfriend. Also innapropriate things like how he misses me and can't wait to see me after I'm in shape for the bike Trek.

At first I'd ignore the comments and say something on topic about fishing or camping (we were planning a rockhounding trip together - us three plus a pile of kids) Then if he kept up the comments I wouldn't respond to the e-mail. Finally he quit e-mailing me...

I never said anything to my friend as I don't think it would make any difference to her. He is exactly what I would describe as a Ma$$h0le.”

The men have 1-5 Girl "friends" and ladies have 1-5 Boy "friends" Everyone gets along and have a clear understanding that we all can help each other in various, productive and fun ways. Open honest communication, kindness, respect, should work like a charm.
We can go hiking, biking, to movies, Sex, dinner, breakfast, but at the same time giving each other the room we need for ourselves, family and other friends (some of that might have bennies too) So anyway as long as the honesty and respect and friendship stay in place it is a "win win situation" what do you think? :-)”

Yes that is exactly what what I would love to have! Trust me!
It has just been a crummy one way road latley. so maybe I was being a little negative and have given up hope that a REAL relationship is still possible nowadays.
