So, are you working on the sequel to "The Money Pit"?

Baume, Bears we hang the food. Sorry I am not much help. Mather, has my map!She is sending it to me.I will most likly be in the area early! 1511- the parking area is right at the 5 mile mark. I cross the bridge and hang a sharp right and park.We will leave you a trail. Look for signs! But its a straight shot.2-3 creek crossings. NOT bad ones.

evergreen- bummer. I'd love to hike with you and Buddy again!

HOI- I'm not sure about buying a map at the visitor center but I know there's a gear shop in Morganton called Wilson Creek Outfitters(town close by) that had them. Boone is another town nearby but I'm not sure what's available.

Rad- does this mean your coming and suppling the pizza and the beer! You rock!

baume- the report from a friend who was up that direction this past weekend was, "it was wonderful! Breezey and no bugs yet!" Keep your fingers crossed!

The good news: Weather looks grreat! Partly sunny (?), upper 60's to low 70's for the daytime and mid 40's to low 50's at night. Gooood sleepin weather.

The bad news: Tight Wad Bob err Honey may be bailing on me:-( Won't know until Thursday.

Ok I'll be headed out early tomorrow and will be waiting for y'all either at the visitor's center or at the trail head or, if I can figure out where it is, at the basecamp area. If you arrive at the basecamp area and see a big green hammock - that will be me. I'll have to head back on Saturday however so I'll be leaving the area Saturday afternoon.
