My boss couldn't care less as I work on a job deadline type of basis with flexible hours and some work at home...did I mention that I hate being on call for trouble shooting!!!”

“I like to make people smile, sorry if that offends you. There's a lot of great people to meet on TT (I get email from a bunch). Sometimes my comments/questions are sincere, sometimes they're B.S. If you can't tell the difference maybe you are taking it a bit too seriously?

“Pathman that is a cop-out. I draw a salary too. I assign myself my own work. From 7:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 4:00, I will not allow myself TT time. I have deleted all of the time wasting Windows games from my computer too.

If I have overtime or weekend projects (no compensation of course) , I relax and occasionally surf. Beyond that I am kidding myself and so are you.”

“bacpac this seems to be a recurring theme between the two of us, and I don't see how or why I should justify myself to you, but let me try and get you to understand.

I outperform anybody I work with, and part of it is that I "play". I play all the time. I am creative. I use my time creatively. I look for projects creatively. I do things that are in somebody elses job description because it needs to be done and they aren't doing it. I do things nobody I work with has thought of, including use of the internet. How did I learn about the internet? You got it. Playing.

There is nobody at work complainig about how I use my time. They just want me to do more of what I am already doing. :D”
