Ok, so you're going for a walk in the woods
The sun is out, and you're getting kind of tired... maybe even a little delirious, you're a bit thirsty, but not going to die any time soon. You feel yourself trip and fall to the ground losing your sunglasses, u pick them up and see a glint on light on the ground, you brush the dirt off of it and out pops an apparition, out of a "metallic rock" So this guy say's he's the genie of the north woods, and he will give you one wish, anything you want... if you could have one wish, what would you wish for?

what r u comin to this great state for?"
simer190 -

To introduce my beautiful 18 and movie-star 35 yr. old daughters to each other. I'll be retrieving my 18 yr. old from her Freshman Yr. at an Iowa college. She will probably want to see a Panamanian friend at the U of M. (Is that where you are?) Her first language is Spanish and she has an A- average so far. There's more. We may spend part of the day at the Mall of the Americas.

Saw your picture in the canoe. I've spent many hours in a canoe in MN. And it appears that we both like good music,
'none of that country/classical/oldies crap, ha'
simer190,

so I thought it might be good to meet someone from TT. (Gotta get these last two married one of these days!) Caution, there are 3 large brothers (my sons)lurking in MN. (And see my pict. on Phil's Photo Page.) Hey, you might like one! He is the head track and field coach at a large Univ. (in another state).

If you're busy, you're busy. Any exams should take top priority. We will probably return to MN in mid-August before she reports to school in Iowa.

"Is that where you are?"

I try to keep out of the city as much as possible, too many people, eh... i live is the small town of benson, west of the cities a ways, i'm not very good at planning ahead, but if you're coming out west for any reason i could figure something out, seems like too much to make a trip to the city... i don't know though, possibility.

I just read that the movie adaptation of Bill Brysons' "A Walk in the Woods" is spearheaded by Robert Redford. This ought to be interesting. It was mentioned in one paragraph in an article about the movie "All the President's Men" finally being released on dvd.

I seriously doubt he'll remove the out-of-place politics in the book. Very unfortunate because otherwise it's a fun read.

I liked it up until the second part of the book.

For some reason I'm dreading the movie.
