In. Hey, did you know that since the knob converted into DTE there's no longer a "per vehicle" parking charge? Now there's a $5 charge PER TICKET!!!!! What a scam.

So that's how they get away with the "free parking" stuff!

I paid $10 for parking at The Palace the other night. What a rip off! At least I had a free ticket!

I'm not a bluegrass fan, Laqtis, so that's why I won't be joining you.

I'm willing to bet that Buddur will be going to the Blossom Amp. (where we hiked) cause the tour is headed there on 7/7. I had actually thought about going there to see it so we could hang w/ him, but it's a Sunday night... 3 hours is a long drive after a concert!

Does anyone need me to order tickets for them? Or, are you all going to do that on your own since we're just sitting on the lawn? Just let me know. I'll be placing the order online this weekend, I think.

I'll take care of my ticket if we go. Thanks for the offer.

Old Pine Knob was cool back inthe day when you could bring in coolers and stuff to eat! I'd go around and collect cans all night when I was real young. Made good money!

oh, and p.s., the per perosn "parking" fee is $3. i don't know if that is the case everytime or just for this concert.

can anyone tell me what a "convenience charge" is?? it was $7.60 per ticket.

Its the same as that $7 fee for handling one piece of paper for the shuttle. Its the costs to rent an office, turn on the lights, pay for employees health benefits, etc. You know, overhead. Amazing overhead costs that much, huh?

I love concerts at Pine Knob! I've heard it was a favorite of performers as well.

What an awesome show. It was perfect weather for an outdoor concert. All the musicians seemed to be enjoying themselfs. I could have listened for another 3 hours, but I'm glad I didn't. As it was I got home at 1 AM.
How about those $7 beers?

Thanks for the heads up, Tara!

We got home about 20 minutes before you did LeSubtil.

The concert was fantastic! Ralph Stanley was just incredible. He was my favorite part of the show. The talent on that stage at the end of the show was astounding.

We had an awesome time.
