“This year my big trip... or my break in trip however u want to look at it, is coming up in july. we have 21 days, and are on a budget, we are looking at a few places, jasper park in canada, glacier park in alaska, and olipmic park in washington state... any information, or preferences? i'm just looking what's out there, thanx.”

That to me would be a great place to go backpacking for 21 days!!!!

It is about 160 mile straight line, probably 250 with all the twistys. Cross one road, all the rest is official wilderness or inventoried roadless area. That in Idaho.”
