I know of only a few Hot Springs that you can hike to around Central California. Muir Trail Ranch, Mono, and Big Sur. Are there any in Kings Canyon, Sequoia, or Yosemite areas?

How are they?

Iva Bell Hot Springs, out of Reds Meadow (Mammoth) is 13 miles each way. There's 7 tubs out there and the Iva Bell local bear. Mel might be doing this one in the fall?

Not in those areas, a bit further south is Jordan Hot springs. Close to Kennedy Mdw., 6 miles down hill.

Do a search on hot springs.

I recall a whole web site dedicated to hot springs in California. Can't remember the address.

Don't know of any in those areas. Long Valley near Mammoth has 6-7 tubs, Bishop has 1, there's one in the southern Sierra's that I haven't been to yet.

Upper tubs at Iva Bell HS
