Play with your kids. You can BP anytime you want...

I stay home and play with the kiddies.

the teens will be out of the house, and the grade schooler will go with me or not mind if I go.

Take the kids backpacking to a nice fishing spot!

Well, My suggestion is like most... But just listen to the song "Cats in the Cradle" and I think you will know what to do. You can BP anytime, but your kids are only young once. Enjoy!

Go backpacking. The kids live there and you can hang out with them anytime your home. Hit the woods man.

Divorce the old lady, fake your death and go backpacking for the rest of your life. You'll be a better man for it!

easy solution
TAKE THE KIDS WITH YOU! I work all week too with only 2 weeks vacation, so you have to budget the free time you do have,, get the kids involved in your things, that's how they learn.I give mine the choice on all my trips , "If you want to come with me, fine, if you want to stay behind , fine, but don't whine about it either way.".They have to learn about decisions and consequences just like us.

Don't GIVE the kids away... Sell 'em to the Gypsies. Buy more gear.

Think I could get $1000 for two boys, 18 and 15? I already have plans for the money.

Hey Tilt, can you recommend any Gypsies who are ready to deal???

(I just grounded my teenagers and I just got the finger)

Good strong boys, smart but no common sense and they have some bad habits-might need to be shackeled.

RE: Bibler. Looks like Mountain Hardwear is coming out with some great light tents. The trilight one is on 3# 14oz at $275. Then I could get that Osprey Aethereal backpack and still have some money left over.

my kiddies are only 3 and 13 months! So there not worth much , they cant go w/ me because there to heavy! And as you can tell I didnt go! I took the three yr. old hiking today and fishing. We hiked 2 1/2 miles to my fishing hole. Ended up catching 4 channel cat (small), 3 crappie, 3 large mouth, and 1 pumkin seed bluegill.

All ya and about 150 snags on my sons line!!!

Thanks for ALL the GOOD advice and had lots of fun today w/ the kid.

I hear you there Prowler, I used to have three rigs going, for me and two boys, and I was always untangling one and keeping them fishing.

Not many things better than catching fish with kids, though.

Sounds like a great time was had by all. I love happy endings. I'm not being sarcastic; I really *do* love happy endings. Really.

I'll have to check out that Trilight...

Here ya go Ped: the Irish Travelers, Murphy Village, Aiken County, South Carolina.

Hmmmmmmmmmm... Jimmy Anthony "Goose" Carroll... ? NAH... must be a coincedence.
