I got vomichristened for the first time when I was still in my teens, taking care of my youngest brother. He did a good job too, something neither of my kids have managed to match. That was really good experience for me, I knew what to do when my own kids came along.

Anyway, happy Mother's day to all you moms out there.

“No, no Bit. I've been baby puked on plenty of times, I've been pee-peed on once, and I got sprayed w/ doo-doo when she about 3 wks. old an I was in the middle of a diaper change (I've gotten much faster). But this last time was an actual VOMIT (like a big kid). But, I can take it. I'm the oldest of 4 sibs., so I had plenty of practice before becoming a mommy. Sounds like we have that in common.”

“Tonight I did clinical time in the Emergency Room of a local Trauma hospital for my EMT course.

There were many, many Moms there with their young'uns with illness varying from severe asthma attacks to multiple seizures.

So, to ALL the parents out there - go hug your kids, we should realize how lucky we have it.

today my mother`s sister is being burried and it made me think of what her kids might say

“We went to church and when we got home, my kids made me get back into bed so that they could give me breakfast in bed. Grapefruit and pancakes! It was great! Babies are wonderful, but I love the things my kids do now that they are big kids.

“Nice day today--My kids and grandkids called and Robert and I called our mothers. We all saw each other yesterday so we did not do a repeat.

Being a mother is the very best thing I have done in my life bar none.”

“My son is taking me out to dinner Tuesday. I'm taking my mom out this week or next (still haven't decided which day). My mom is as busy as I am, so it takes planning to get us together.”

“My Mom finally called from Las Cruces. She's alright!”

“Newergirl and I had a great 2nd Mother's Day. We did some yard work, which mostly consisted of me telling her not to put THAT in her mouth. Then we did some piggy back racing for a little Montanapalooza practice. She weighs 28 lbs., so I figured if I could run around w/ her for about 20 mins. on my back, that was a pretty good starting work out. LOL!”

My kids weigh over 60 lbs, so I think I can't use your idea.”

“Oh, I wouldn't try it either LyndyS. I'll admit I was pretty wore out after 20 mins. off racing around the yard. Newergirl on the other hand was extremely disappointed that her personal "horsy" had to take a break. We had to eat some "nanas" to distract her.”

“I would just like to say to all the Mothers out there that only the best things happen to you and that you get treated with all the love in the world.


It has been 3 years now since my mom passed on and I miss her so very much.My mom was so pimp and she was the only one that was able to understand me.

I hope you are haveing a great time in Heven Mom I miss you oh so very much.
