Ludlow is in the center of the Mojave Desert caused the confusion. They downsized it to a 5.1 also.

I am from Cali....experienced my first large earthquake when I was 5....it was a 7.1...since then I have been in 5 others 6 and above. I love them LOL As long as they don't happen in the middle of the night. I no longer live in California but I hear there are fault everywhere....even here in little ol Alabama. Hmmm......

theXL400, This is not fuego. Have some respect for once. Can't you just shut up for 1 day about your politics?

Again, best wishes to the victims of the Hawaiian earthquake.

I didn't realize that Obama had announced a non-existent earthquake in Hawaii, so I guess you are right Stovie.

Oh wait, he didn't.

he referenced an earthquake (supposedly) to sell healthcare, when in fact healthcare ain't got nothing to do with that earthquake. There were more infrastructure issues than injuries.

There was a 4.4 earthquake in Hawaii a week or two ago. I think it made the water in the toilets slosh around.

Um no, like I said, the earthquake that vioLiN dug up has no connection whatsoever with the question he was being asked.

Sorry HPD..I guess wondering where the 'citizens of Mississippi" (who went through the same Hurricane as the Lousyannna crowd)were in the Chosen One's statement clouded my judgement.

Next time, post the link a little further up on the thread.

wrong. I watched the interview on Wednesday night (DVR'd it), and realized his mistake. Since only a few people understood it, I found a link to show the people who don't pay as much attention to what the President says.
