“I overheard two dudes at our local college:

Dude 1: "Dude, check it out!"
Dude 2: "Dude, that is so.......dude!"
Dude 1: (nodding) "Dude!"
Dude 2: (also nodding) "Dude!"
Dudes 1 & 2: "Duuuuuude!"”

“How to tell the difference between a Northern Spotted Owl and its cousin the California Spotted Owl:

Northern Spotted Owl call: whoooo whoooo

California Spotted Owl call:
Duuude Duuude


There's also a Mexican Spotted Owl but how do you hoot in Spanish?

Some biologists claim the Northern Spotted Owl variety found in British Columbia is actually a separate species. It's call is more like:

whooo, eh? whooo, eh?”

“These two surgeons were playing and round of golf and simultaneously blathering about What Great Surgeons They Were.

One looks up in a tree and sees this huge owl taking a midday snooze. He says, "I am such a great surgeon that I can take this pen-knife, climb this tree and give that owl a tonsilectomy and he won't even wake up." The other surgeon says, "Go for it, Dude!" and he does.

Not to be outdone, the second surgeon says, "I can take that pen-knife, climb this tree and give that owl a VASECTOMY and he won't wake up." Then HE climbs the tree and does his bit.

The two doctors finish their round with a greatly enhanced opinion of each other's skill.

Two weeks later, the owl is over near the 15th fairway with his girlfriend and she says, "Hey Honey, why don't we fly over to that big ol' tree by the 7th green and fool around a little?"

The owl says, "I dunno... I was over there a couple of weeks ago and ever since then, I haven't been able to hoot worth a phuck or phuck worth a hoot."”
