I have never gotten this far behind before, but I turned in the (hopefully) final modifications to my doctoral dissertation last Friday. Since the first of the year I have been extra busy. TT has been my respite and escape.

They're crazy little buggers, aren't they? One for me is PLENTY. Two are fun. A group of three takes on something of a nightmare quality, especially when they attack just before the sun comes up.

I think I'll chew on THEIR toes and see how they like it!”

“Citrus County, about an hour north of Tampa, near a little town called Inverness.”

“I'm in Duval Co. and there are feral pigs almost that big running around, but nothing that mean looking. How much meat ya get out of it?”

“Not sure exactly how many pounds, but it was a lot! I had never skinned any animal before prior to that day, my uncle walked me through it step-by-step and let me do a lot of the work. Anyway, there was a lot. My family down there are avid hunters, and they're not the kind of folk who are impressed too easily, but they were hardcore impressed with that catch and the amount of meat that was on that sucker. Sucks because I had to fly back up to NJ the next day, so I never got to have any. :-(”

“Artex, we used to fly between S.C. and Mi. with coolerfuls of shrimp and seafood, all ducktaped shut. We'd get some weird looks, but that's about it. Needless to say that wasn't carry-on luggage!”

“LOL! Yeah, I should have packed a cooler with some dry ice and hauled some up with me.. I was going to do the same with some Sonny's Real Pit BBQ, but I was too lazy.. and now regret it!”

“I guess you can say that Phil is one of the few here that holds us all together. In the early years Phils photos were our only way of putting faces with the names. His contributions and photo page are admired by many here. I have never met him personally but those that have speak very highly of him. I share their opion. From what I understand he is a very busy person and he does an extremely good job of putting this all together.

“I just finished with another update to the photo page. I ended up taking my daughter to Disneyland after school today. Lines were short so we got to do a lot of stuff in 4 hours.
