ya that's the only thing I was ever afeared of about hiking in a kilt.

Crossing a blow down and hooking something on a nubbin of a branch, or bark, just as I let myself slide off the log...

Yaz.... I haven't seen vast tracts of woodland in photos of Scotland ---- Mostly open territory?

Also... Watch out for subway grates.  Don't wanna pull a Marilyn Monroe.

They are perfect candidates for Birch's pink saranwrap thongs. They obviously aren't up with the fashion times. Psshhhhhh!

If I ever get the cash laying around that I just can't concieve of something else to spend it on I'd buy and wear one.

Though I realy think it is all a conspiracy of women just to see what they can get men to do if they convince them that women think it is attractive. i.e. "He He. Look what they will do if they think we like it! He he!"

I like mine. I plan to wear it frequently when I am out hiking. I would wear it around town if I happened to be hiker clad, or if it was my family tartan. I find it very comfortable. Actually I couldn't care less if the women find it attractive. To totally married to give a big whoop about that. But comfy.... wow...!!!!

I agree, Rev.
Nothing comes close in the comfort category.
Just don't get it wet :)

I now have two... one plain one and one plaid, although still not my family tartan. I be sporting it Thursday and Fri on the MST.

Nice, Rr. Did wifey make it?

I had issues with mine recently. Well, more like, others had issues.
Climbing and scrambling in a kilt is what you would expect, especially when it's windy. It feels great but whoever is around WILL see your private bits.
