Groomsmen gifts
I will be getting married June 1st and I'm stumped on what to get the my groomsmen for a gift. I'm looking to spend around $50 per person (4 total). They are all into the outdoors and their hobbies vary slightly. 3 of them ski, 2 of them hunt, 2 of them backpack, 3 of them mtn. bike, 1 kayaks, 1 canoes, all of them hike and car camp.

What unique gift can I get them in that price range that none of them have but need?

HELP!!!

How about gift certificates? A lot people are very, very picky when it comes to their gear.

Here's the latest hot gadget. It would help if they were into science fiction, <G>...

Just had another thought.. if not gift certificates, how about a portable weather radio? Oregon Scientific makes a terrific, water-resistant one with a compass and thermometer built in. Forget the model name, but it's yellow, and only one model that I know of has the above features.. They typically go for around $50, but I found mine online for $20 last Christmas, and picked a couple for my father and brother for presents... great piece of equipment.

Not a weather radio
I suggest NOT a weather radio, unless you know where they are going. Been too many places where I couldn't pick up a signal.

If they go out in specific areas, a park permit, otherwise, it agree with a gift certificate.

I like the idea of gift certificates then that way they can get what they want.

IMHO, gift certificates are not a "special groomsman's gift" How about a comprehensive first aid kit and insert a laminated photo of you doing something goofy with them. In addition to the remedies included in the kit, there would be some good cheer for years to come.

Give them all your stuff.

You're getting married so you will never use it anymore.

You only THINK you will.

I got each of my groomsmen a knife specific to their respective sports/hobbies.

I like Opie's rec on this one as well.

Sorry I'm keeping my stuff because my fiance is my hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and rock climbing partner. We're going to go camping in Oregon for our Honeymoon.
Thanks for all the suggestions!
