Anyone have MSN as ISP?

“I need to get my Mom hooked up to the www. She is inheriting my old machine (P133, W95) The new version of AOL requires alot more than this machine can handle but the system requirements for MSN seem like they'll fit. Does anyone use this and have strong opinions either way? She needs ease of use and will mostly be using it for e-mailing. I don't think at this point she'll need unlimited service, but maybe she will if she discovers TT.

win 95 is no longer supported by microsoft.

if shes a total newbie then aol is the best choice.
if she has any real skills then just get a regular isp account and use IE or mozilla to browse ect.

msn is somewhat lacking in content.”

most likely a technophobe... have you considered a "web appliance" instead. supposedly they are adaquate for e-mail and light browsing. dont take much space and can be stored when not in use.”
