After 9 years do you think the case is closed?
I've been an X-Files fan since the begining, and it has been a good ride. However, once they droped Fox Molder the series took a turn for the worst, and with tonights episode I wounder will the X files stay for X years. What do you think, I hope they stick around....

It's not the dropping of Fox that made the show bad...it's moving the filming to L.A....go back to British Columbia.

Lots of shows dropped their main stars and are still good ie. Law and Order, ER etc.

Series is done. Mulder and Scully will continue their adventures in the movies according to the show's producer.

It's been awhile since I've posted anything around here, but this is a subject I should know something about. It just so happens that the creator of the show (Chris Carter) is one of my cousins, and I'm one of the "Mulders" that he named his character after.

It's been a fun run, but as Mediaman said, the show is done. It should live on in syndication and on the big screen though. Stay tuned.

OK, Alpine. Which episode do you have a cameo in? I can't see Chris Carter not taking care of the people his most popular character is named after.

I agree, a cameo would have been fun! Actually, the Mulder side of the family is big enough we could have been a crowd scene or something. I always did mean to try and see an episode being filmed. Maybe I'll still have my chance with a future movie.

The reality is that I don't see Chris very much. Too bad, as I'd like to convince him that we need royalties for use of the family name!
