one of my friends (dalmation) got herself a new pack but doesnt know the right way to wear it. should the pack be on the shoulders or is it more comfy mid back?

Any other advice would be appreciated... Thanks

I noticed that if you put it on the shoulders, your dog can still lift his leg. hmmm, sarabelle is a girl dog though, I think she prolly squats

Destiny is a girl dog too.

Too much forward and I think it would create problems in the dog's ability to stretch its front quarters when running, leaping, etc.

Experiment a little and see what works best for the pooch.

i found it's easier to carry the dog's stuff myself. between getting caught on bushes and wacking me in the legs it's just not worth it. my dog gets all crazy in the woods though, doesn't really settle down the whole time.

Get a llama. It will carry YOUR gear, too!
