I'm going on a twenty day canoeing and hiking trip this summer in canada, I was wondering what the best backpack would be for a trip like this at a reasonable price.

Sounds like a fun trip!

Did a friend of your mother’s post here the other day with a sleeping bag question?

To get the best advice, could you give us a few details? When you say hiking do you mean mostly short portages between waterways or something more? Define ‘reasonable price’.

heh.. what an OPEN question with a lot of answers.. there are some sites available who do gear reviews.. plus if you search old threads, we have discussed this to death..

How much do you want to spend.. question one.

How design conscious are you.. quesiton two.

Are you a torll.. question three.

How about this one?
Vaude HOBB CREEK 60

There are smaller rivers and shorter canyons. The immersion proof Hobb Creek 60 is your top dog for a quickie at your favorite wet patch on the map.
