“There used to be a British sci-fi series called "UFO" where there was a secret British organization whose sole purpose was fighting and defeating marauding UFO's. Not to mention hiding the fact from the world that there were marauding UFO's. Anyway, they had a submarine in that series that had a bow that would launch from underwater and fly like a plane.
