“Ah.. one post wonders and other disturbing occurrences..

1) They post once, and never to be seen again. (The OTHER backpacker site a lot worse on this.)

2) They trash us, and tell us what goofballs we are, and then come back asking for advice when they realize we are not so stupid.

3) They get their feelings hurt when we don't give them the answer they want to hear, or dis their favorite piece of lame-a$$ gear.

4) They post threads that are basically ways to vent their anger.. (oops.. sorry.. I better quit now)

We don't watch MTV so I tried to look up KORN on the web but didn't find much that would give me an idea about the video. My kids are 7 and 9 and recently I've banned TV except 30 min a day, unless it is something that my husband and I want to watch, like History, Discovery, A&E, etc. It helps keep the commercial influences down a little.”

www.korn.com should have video clips, real player song samples...don't rush it..your kids will embrace this style of music around 14...it's harmless if they are intelligent.

I figure that restrictions like these are only possible when they are young. I only have a couple more years of influence before they get smart and go to their friends' houses to watch TV. My older daughter's best friend said "I don't like Brittany Spears because she dressed like a trashy person".
