New Headlight

“Just got the new Coghlan's LED/incandescent headlight from Campmor, and as headlights seem to be a popular topic on here I thought I do a mini gear review. The price was great (19.99). It has about every feature you could want, lamp tilts 90 degrees, a comfy two piece headstrap, the incandescent light is focusable, and you can choose from either 1 LED, 3 LEDs, or the incandescent. The construction seems solid, and well sealed, I think it would be OK even in a hard rain (but I wouldn't submerge it). I tried it out in my attic and the single LED was plenty to read a book by, The 3 LED setting seemed like enough for trail walking or to do any camp chores even in total darkness. Campmor lists the weight at 5 oz and that feels about right. Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars”
