It aint the hydration pocket in this case as it also has one of those inside the slab pocket.....

Its a kelty bigfoot in case it helps, I gave my son my old external and decided to try an internal for a change. Cant seem to figure out all the pockets and doodads yet....”

“I always thought it was a pocket inside the main compartment next to your back where you could place heavy stuff (i.e.food) to help with the center-of-gravity thing.”
