we went and found the spot where the shuttle cars will be left, hiked the 2.2 miles down to spirit creek. it was great! the trail was a lil grown up, need hiking pants, not shorts like we wore. really cool campin spot down in there! that 2 mile mountain was hard to climb though, even for my boys. hope we can make the whole trip!

The creek was AWESOME! the most hypmotizing emerald green color, looks refreshing feels even better. It was flowing pretty good, we could hear it from quite a distance before we got to it. The poison ivy was pretty bad along the trail. It doesn't bother us too bad so we just tromped through it in our shorts but if ya'lll are allergic to it at all, i highly reccomend long britches.

I am very hopefull too Moz, keepin ma fingers crossed.

here's my description to the shuttle car spot;

Here's what I came up with; about a mile from the Cass Job Corps, between Turner Bend & Cass. The road is marked as WHite Rock Mtn Rd. Take it up through the big boulders, about exactly 5 miles, take the right fork of the road(to Grey's spring) the road is still marked as White Rock Mtn road. Go 3 miles on WRMR(don't take Ellis Rd on the left) you'll come to Rd 1003, turn left. GO about 3 miles and you'll come to a crossroads, turn right on Mineral HIll Rd. Go up the hill about 2 miles, trail crossing is on the right. There is a smalll marker there & spots for 5 or 6 cars to park.

The camp site that Moz has proposed is on a road directly across from the Cass Job Corps, Fane Creek Rd
