hey all you crazy tt'ers,
so, i've been slacking on backpacking a bit (only 2 trips last year, one summer & one winter) because i got hooked on whitewater. however, last weekend i got my paddle hooked on a rock and my left shoulder got to spend a little time dislocated. i'm going to be out of my boat for a couple months probably, so i'm wondering if any of you all have dislocated a shoulder and how putting on a pack treated you. dayhiking and car camping seems like a possibility, but if i'm going to be camping i'd way rather get on a trail. i'll go light, and can work the straps on my pack to take the load off (and my bud said he'd carry all the heavy stuff, i might have to keep this injury around for awhile...), i'm just wondering if anyone here has ever ran into shoulder trouble w/ a pack. thanks in advance...

I hiked with a guy who had a broken collar bone once ...he claimed the pressure from the strap made it feel better...I'd of prolly stayed home and get lots of attention from the Mrs ;)
