TC2 update

“your a woose. This is not going to be a tranquil event...it is going to be a happening! For one weekend, you should be able to put up with some stuff that is not normal...I would expect that the people are like minded and will be considerate, but maybe not, who knows...I think that you should reconsider your choice, I for one would like to see ya again, and Khatru too. I am looking forward to making the acquaintence of new people and seeing old faces...all except Chili...he is an old fart that needs to be put to rest...I think we need to dig a really big cat hole and bury him in it, after we use it a couple of times...J/K...

This will be cool!!! break out the musical intruments...we can have open mic sessions...I for one am working on a new flute number...strat can bring his guitar...even though he can't play for beans.

news on the network front...last week I got a lovely "not interested" from food tv, and today, I received a call from outdoor life..."thanks, but no thanks"...that sucks!!! I think we should ban them both.

oh, and before i forget.. to squash another misunderstanding.. the $15 I asked for was a donation.. it was not a fee.. it was not a charge to compete.. my thought was that it was a gift to help support the event.. and allow us to have a safe secure place to meet..

Anyone can come.. whether you paid or not.. and even if you don't come.. the $15 donation allows us to have the event.. and in the end, your $15 donation gets given to the Cumberland Trail Conference -- so the bottom line is.. TrailTalk is donating a thousand dollars to the CTC, and holding the largest not for profit event related to backpacking ANYwhere in the country..

If you come, great! If you don't -- you will be missed, and my guess is that you will later wish you had attended. Joshman has personally secured prizes from many sponosrs and not just BP equipment.. shoot the guy got Cd's, books, home furnishings..

I am gonna have to secure help from the park rangers with ATVs to get it all there. As for security.. gawd you guys are a bunch of losers sometimes.. do you really think I would NOT make sure we had rangers and police in the area?
