“I forget who it was who sounded interested in the Microswift. Wilderness exchange seems to have some Walrus Microswifts left and is selling them at 100 bucks (aka 99.95). This is much better than the new MSR branded Microswifts. They also have some other decent looking close outs on Walrus/Moss branded tents and other decent prices.” 12:06:39 PM 6/13/02 “I mean the MSR branded microzoids which replaced the Walrus microswifts.” 12:07:23 PM 6/13/02 I was not able to find the tent “can you post a link please?” 2:52:08 PM 6/13/02 “to small Ped. That is unless you are looking for a body condom. hehe” 5:59:03 PM 6/13/02 “Here is a Eureka Solitaire Tent that is priced cheap. Not sure if this is what you are looking for. Solitaire Tent” 6:15:18 PM 6/13/02 The EMS shooting Star “looks like to be a good solo tent. I;m gonna stick with my NF Slickrock. I like to be able to have some room for gear and dog.” 7:04:15 PM 6/13/02 “Ewker, I was looking at that tent today at a local shop. Looks just about right for me. 4.9 lbs i think it is. DO you have one like this?” 7:25:45 PM 6/13/02 “stratdewd, I don't have one. I did borrow one of the Microswift's but didn't like it, just to small. I ended up buy a Kelty Zen. I just like to have some room for things.” 10:08:12 PM 6/13/02 hey strat...check out the NF slickrock “4.5 lbs” 10:13:35 PM 6/13/02 solos tents “i had a micro swift, but it was to damn small, sold to get a msr zoid 1, great tent and you can find one for about 149 if lucky, and only 3lbs, well worth it...in my book” 1:15:35 AM 6/14/02 “I have a microswift, used twice that I'm selling for $75 (Includes footprint), if anyone is interested, email me at jayd14@prodigy.net” 5:38:55 AM 6/14/02 10:40:01 AM 6/14/02 “ooops bad link... somehow an extra m got in there... you can cut and paste the url I put up though (http://www.wildernessexchangeunlimited.com/page824424.htm)” 1:52:39 PM 6/14/02 “BTW: I have the Walrus Zoid 1... its a little lighter than the new MSR version... but at 6' tall I like the room.” 1:54:44 PM 6/14/02 “Used a Micro-Swift for hiking most of last summer... kept me dry and stayed up through rough weather coupla times. Gonna use it again this summer for the Wonderland Trail (Aug 1-11), NPT (Aug 18-28) and numerous short trips. Although there's no gear room, at under 3 lbs., it can't be beat.” 3:51:33 PM 6/14/02
