Sure I have - but at the time I was working a controlled burn in the Sierra. A drip torch can deliver an amazing rush. Controlled burns don't get real interesting/fun until you are asking for air support!

And right Stikmon, lots of us have had marriages bust up and relationships blow up. My entire life is littered with the ashes of busted relationships and I haven't burned down anything as a result. But people snap and do goofy things. Some guys shoot their ex and then themselves, which would be okay if they would do it in the exact opposite order. Some go out and buy new sportscars and some get drunk.
This gal just burned down Colorado. But it will grow back. Fire is a natural part of forest ecology.

I used to work summers and x-mas with my dad's forestry construction company. Mainly doing prescribed burning. I wasn't present for our worst fire-jump...but have you ever seen a brand new bulldozer burn completely down?..it's amazing to see what fire can do...it is alive, i truelly believe it is some sort of lifeform.”
