“I was actually planning to get a kayak but instead I'm getting back into music.
another reason I decided against a kayak is that I'd never have time to use it. The warm months at work is my busy season and I'm there 6 days a week most of the time and it's hard to plan a trip.
It actually works out pretty good. Most people are scedualing their vacations for Summer and all the slots are gone. Most my time off is during Fall and Winter when work is slower. I get to make the sh1t out of money during the time I DON'T want to be out, and get to go out and play during the best backpacking months.”
