Packlite Pack

“I ordered a Packlite Backcountry today because I like how it looks from the picture. They said I can return it if it doesn't work for me. Anyone out there have a backpack made by Packlite?

Do you have any trouble fitting a bear canister into it?

“I have the "High Country" ....bear can is no problem at all.

Obi Wan Canoli has the "Back Country" I don't think he had any problems getting his Garcia Can in his either. He had it when we hiked the Jennie Lakes Wilderness last year.

I bought mine used from bpbaby last year. Mine is comfy :)”

“The Packlite Backcountry came today. It was too big for me and didn't work with the bear canister.”

“That's too bad, wingding... WW's right, I've had no trouble with my Backcountry... no problem getting the Garcia in there... I use the upper part of the pack, and lay in on its side... upright doesn't work well...

I think it's a cavernous pack, good for longer trips... 4300 c.i., I think... but if it's too big for you, it's too big.

This was and is my first internal frame pack... takes some gettng used to, compared to the Kelty Super T I have... Kelty also makes a couple smaller versions I'm considering, weekend-sized packs... might be what you're looking for, eh?”
