“Hey club members whats going on?Well the trip this weekend was a blast!The club turnout was 2.Gary showed up around 12 am Sat am and woke me up it was kind of funny.There was lots of wildlife this time.We saw all kinds of Turkey,Hawks,Chipmunks,Deer,Fish jumping in the lake,also herd Owls,Coyote,it was a very cool trip.Early Sunday am around 3 am we got hit with a kick butt thunderstorm it was very cool.We did a total of 13.6 miles of backpacking.

It was a great trip so how was everyones weekend?

“Hey TT'ers whats going on?Well the club had a turnout of 4 this weekend at Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness.This was a nice trip the temps were cool and there was always a nice breeze.Me and Gforce had gone for a late day hike and saw one of those birds that run along the beach called a sand piper.It was neat we would catch up to it and it would run faster it was cool.That night the moon peered through the clouds and it looked real cool.I just hope the pictures that I took of it turnout.The waves on the lake were HUGH!!!!!Its been a long time since I have seen waves that big.We hiked about 10 or 11 miles and it was a nice and easy trip a great way to relax.

So how was everyone else's weekend?

“I had a great time on CMB's trip. I didn't know any of the guys going so I kind of wondered what I was getting myself into...anyway, I had an awesome time with the guys. The campfire was unreal, let's just say that there is not much dead wood left on the Manistee River Trail...”

“Geezr the only bears that have gotten to me are the Chicago Bears. :( But all else is well . . . we've just been extremely busy at work. And you're right, I don't remember any 12 yr old scotch passing my way from Mike either . . . only cigar smoke and some other occasional foul breezes. lol!”

“No..I was in North Carolina slaving away at work while he was out playing in the woods..

He can be pretty stingy with the scotch..you have to catch him with his back turned if you want a shot of his precious stock..”
