Crazy Mikes Trip Report.

“Hey TT'ers whats going on?I hope lots of you got to go backpacking this weekend.

Well the club had a turnout of 2 this weekend in Charles Deam Wilderness.We did 14 miles of backpacking.It is so nice to have good weather and temps for a change.

The first day we hiked the Cope Hollow Loop into the Grubb Ridge Loop.From there we crossed the Creek to the side trail to Patton cave were we were going to spen the night.

That night was way cool there were so many cool animal sounds to listen to that night it was a very special treat.

There was not a cloud in the sky that night so the stars looked very pimp.

I hope everyone else had a great weekend.

“Hey TT'ers whats going on?Well the club had a great turnout this weekend we had 6 people come out to backpack the Manistee River Trail.

It was me,Gforce,Coyote 13,Wolfeyes,Le Subtil's Brother and Avalanch Allen.

Man we talked about some very crazy things around that campfire Last night man I thought I did some crazy things but I will let others tell you all about it.

To say the least it was a very good trip and we all had a good time.

“Thanks for a GREAT trip CMB! I had a blast! You weren't up when Coyote13 and I skadattled out of there but I made sure there was a fire going for ya! Was it still there when you got up? We made it back to the car in an hour..and made it home at a fairly decent time. I can't wait to be able to go with all of you again! I had a great time, and wish I could have stayed. Next time...:)”

“Not this trip...there was a full sized bathroom in Avalanche Allen's tent...right next to his king sized bed, and off to the left of his Eddie Bauer Home dresser. GREAT TRIP THIS WAS!!!”

“He even gave out warm towels when you were finished, and you could help yourself to the mints in the crystal bowl next to the golden stake. HEHE!!!”

“Hey CMB..... THANKS for such a WONDERFUL weekend . I really had a good time. I'm glad I was able to meet gforce and Avalanche Allan. You guys are hilarious! I look forward to hiking with "the club" again!

Last nights moon was fabulous..... I was looking out at this evenings moon, and was wishing I was back out there again...... minus the cold! Thanks for lending me that sleeping bag... it did the trick!

The hike was a good one, albeit a little bit of a struggle for me at times. I've NEVER seen that many people on the trail as I did yesterday! Between that college group, the boy scout troop, and all the families hiking,.... that trail was one busy place! Almost thinking about bringing a horn with me next time, just so I can pass some people! LOL!

Now that I FINALLY finished my film in BOTH cameras, I can get them developed and post the pictures here soon.

Oh, glad to hear that you slept so well...... avalanche kinda kept me awake most of the night..... is his name "avalanche" because he could CREATE one with his snoring?? HEHE! Just kidding!”

“Hey TT'ers whats going on?Well me CMB,Gforce & 2Scoops did 19.2 miles of the North Country Trail this weekend.It was a great trip.

Day one we started at the Udell Trailhead and started north.It was overcast and there was a nice mist in the air it was very nice.About 3 to 4 miles into the trip I had found a real nice big tree and I just had to give it a big hug so I did and I had Gforce take a picture of me hugging it.So that sticker that Tarabull gave me fits me to a tee!!!!Thank you again Tarabull.

That night we stayed by the Manistee River about 3 miles past Highbridge Access Trailhead.We got ice rain during the middle of the nice so that was very cool and before we had gone to bed we had a nice campfire and for a good laugh I fell flat on my face after I did not turn on my headlamp and if I must say I laughed my @ss off when I fell.

Today we finished up a great trip and we all had a good time.The clouds had done the splits and the sun had a chance to shine off and on.
