Mind if i change ideas here
So when i first visited this board i brought up my idea of walking around the country, you all helped me through some of the planning and funding ideas, and you came up, (dunadan) with the idea of stopping by everyone's house, taking pictures, possibly staying a night, getting a bite to eat, and i thought that was all great.

But i've been thinking, it would be wonderful if i could stop by everyone's house, and visit for a while, but it seems... too unlikely, maybe some, but i don't think it's possible for me to hit them all, i would have to change my route to zig zag all through the country, and i don't want to be stuck on having to find a route that can handle it.

So, if i don't come visit you, why don't you come visit me? I figure i'll be doing some trails as i travel, along with road travel and seeing the entire country. I thought that maybe all the tt'ers can join me as I walk through different regions of the country, backpacking some of the great trails around. You can keep me company, hear my stories, come by to say hi, whatever works. Ok, so if this is a terrible idea, let me know... I just thought that visiting everyone's house didn't seem very likely, but it would be nice to have company, at least once in a while.

While i'm hiking, i can find a library, or cyber cafe or something where i can have access to the net, to post my location and my progress, anything worthwhile that's happening, or just anything you'd like to hear, then anyone in the area can come visit with me for a night, or two, or a week, depends on your mood i'm sure ;). well, let me know what you think. thanks

I was actually thinking of just making up a trip in my head and posting imaginary updates on this site. Each night, I'd sit in front of some map books and pretend to describe the area I'm supposed to be at. And all the other TTers can just come to my house for a day, a week or whatever. So, what do you all think?

Whether you are near here, or want to stop by for a refresher from the trail, I'm ready to meet you. I hope you stick to your idea and don't take any of these Bozo's too seriously.
Keep us updated on your progress.
