i dun know if i can take this
well....after 2 extremely competitive nail biters, both my boys(8 & 10) playing baseball won their tournament games last night & will play in their respective championship games tonight. it's very nerve wracking when they are so close. last night they were both playing at the same time . the feilds are pretty close together so i was runnin back n forth, tryin not to miss any action. it was insane. i am gonna be insane soon i think. wish them luck! i'll post the results tonight cuz i know yer all now rivited to the edge of your seats. the 10 yr old's team is now 18-0 and going for the perfect season.

Good luck to the both of them. I remember schlepping my little brother to his games. What positions do they play?

Played first base on a little league team for several years, and I'm a father, so I can understand. Keep your eye on the ball.

I was never as nervous playing as I am in watching my son play. Good luck!

thankx guys! they are still at the ages where they rotate everybody around alot. the 10 yr old plays mostly 3rd or center feild or 1st. the 8 yr old plays 3rd or pitcher or 2nd(they are still in machine pitch)

should be exiting. i better get to work so i can get back in town in time for the games!

Good luck. That's a great age. I played on three city championship team when I was around that age. It was fun and the good thing, keeps them outta trouble!

Bummer, maybe next year. And if they had fun, they ultimately won anyway.

yeah garf, forrest was a little shaken for awhile. then, while griffin was playing his game, i saw forrest on a nearby feild, playing with the coaches son of the team that beat him. fo playes on his team last year so they know each other. it was cool....18-1 is a pretty good season in anybodies book. the coach had some t-shirts made for the kids that said 16-0-perfect season & had the logo and all the boys' names on it. he scored 2 trophies too.

griff was smiling when he came off the field. he's a great kid. i tell you, if he can ever harness that competitive edge that forrest has, he's gonna be scary. a natural athalete(sp?)
