29 PA woman (roarrr). My most frequent hiking companion since age 13 has been my wonderdog PatchyG. To compensate for her recent retirement from traildoggin, I ran off and married my 'other' best friend and pal since highschool "Dare." I guess you can call him my new traildog. ;)

Been absent from TT for quite a while, so it was fun to wade through this thread - which is surprisingly civil! I love this place and have many fond memories of hanging out with some great TTers, both on-line and in the woods.

I've lived in a third-world country.

I usually hate my job, but love my volunteer work. I am successful at both.

Being out in nature is what I live for. A true tomboy as a child, I would still rather climb a tree or jump in the lake, than go to the gym...
When's the last time YOU climbed a tree?!

“Name's George. I'm 25 and am originally from Astoria, NY. I grew up in between central NJ and the Catskill Mountains of NY. Currently live near Princeton, NJ (not necessarily willingly).

I'm an Eagle Scout -- love hiking, love camping, so naturally backpacking would result from that. Actually, I like to do anything that involves being outdoors, including skiing in the winter.

Professionally, I'm a programmer for a local company here. Hockey rules! (though the Rangers have been kinda lousy lately -- I'm sure they'll turn that around soon......hopefully.....maybe) I like any type of music that rocks.

Mostly car camped and day hiked ALLTHOUGH I do want to do the real thing: backpack, just not solo for the first time. I've been lost in the woods and it's not fun at least not here in montana where there are grizzly bears and moose.
