I was wondering if any one knows about fly fishing in North Dakota. I don't care what kind of fish even though I perfer trout. If anyone knows any good fishing spots. I do have a kayak that I can fish from if a boat is neaded. Happy 4th.

kodiakman, long time no see!!

Are you in ND yet? When does that happen?

I just went trout fishing with a friend Sunday. Plenty o' trout in NE Ioway. OK, well, I just watched.
This guy was good. He knew how to catch them in fast water. Got his limit of 5 in about 1/2 hour. Included all 3 species here: rainbow, brown and the native brook.

Usually I'm mt. biking the stocking trails and scaring the trout away. One time I put my foot down as I lost my balance and about #&%!$ when a trout knocked into my leg!!

Nope im not in ND yet. I will be leaving Alaska and taking vacation to Minnesota and then going to ND in the middle of October. I plan on staying in MN for three weeks or so. I havnet been on the computer much. No time with summer here. I have to take advantage of the summer up here. I'm going to Valdez this long weekend to do pink salmon and halibut fishing. It should be a good time.
