Goodbye Camp Narrin

“Bummer. I just received a site plan for an old Girl Scout Camp. They're going to put houses up, go figure. 196 acres, 78 lots.

The Girl Scouts in our area were having financial problems last year, and they sold off several of their camps. My first "tent" camping experience was at Girl Scout Camp, not at this one, however. Still, its sad to see an old camp go.”

“I know what you mean Smiley. My old church camp is now second growth tangle and part of the Delaware Water Gap NRA.

At least it's not a slumdivision! I can still stop by there every now and again and remember.”
