At the Warner Creek Trailhead parking lot, I leave a note on my van windshield saying: We're still north of M-32. If we get to Warner Creek trialhead and haven't ran into you guys, I'll change the note to: We've passed and we're south of this trailhead. This way you guys are not hiking all over looking fer us. How's that sound??”

“I'm still deciding on how I want to get up there. If I drive my truck, I'll go up to Crazy Mikes house and carpool up with him & Evergreen.
Or, I'll rent a car and drive all the way and take a Scienic ride.
Or, I'll hop a plane and fly into Detroit.

I got plenty of time to decide.

Evergreen, I'm way out of the way for us to try to ride together. It would add about 5 more hours onto the ride.”

I just want to say thanks for the way you have put this thing together.
Just goes to show how TTers will go out of their way to bring other TTers together. I'm looking foward to my first trip up there. Also want to welcome any of yall down to my neck of the woods sometime.
And to think that this trip was based on little ole me wanting to go up and see some Michigan woods and meet a few more people and see some again I've already met.

I totally dig every one of you!!!!!

“Much as I HATE (shudder!) to not meet walkindude and especially that Buddha Bear (sob, sob, hack a lugie patooie), looks like a combination business trip/vacation will put me in Albuquerque in that timeframe.

It's a sweet deal! Going as a rep for our motorcoach company on a "fam" (familiarization) tour of the area (actually Rio Rancho). $50... Superb lodging for four nights, all kinds of attractions, at least 2 meals a day, hot air ballooning.... yes, even some OUTDOORS type natural attractions (Bandelier N'tl Monument, other mts. in area)... taking the tram to Sandia Peak.

I LOVE MY JOB!! (sometimes)

Might meet stikmon in Colorado Springs area on the way out. If I drive, will go early and hit plenty of trails on the way.
