Artex you better hope that Shokey doesn't pull a Koren Robinson (my starting WR) and get suspended on gameday.

What a f__kin week? Eagles stunk. Bucs stunk. Giants in the process of stinking.

Ok, guys. I need to ask a few questions. I am having trouble putting my injured players on waivers. I know how to add and drop players. Is it the same procedure? Also, what do you do when a lot of your guys have a bye week? Not sure how that works. Figuring they can't accumulate points if they don't play. So, what do you do for the week? Sorry if these are stupid questions, but they just occurred to me as I was trying edit team. Thanks for any help!

There is a list of players (usually premier players) that can't be dropped for any reason. This is to keep people honest so they can't use two teams and pass the better players from a weak team to make a strong team stronger.

If you have so many players on a bye week that you can't field a complete team then you have two choices.
1. Live without the points that position would earn or
2. pick up a new player and drop one of the bye week players. Keep in mind that if they are good players someone will probably pick them up before you can get them back.

Thanks so much Hyway. But what aboue players who are injured. Is it common to drop them or put them on waivers?
Treebeard

For instance, Donnie Abraham is out for 2 months. What would you do with him?
Treebeard

He won't do you any good for 2 months, and when he comes back he may not be producing. There are plenty of defensive guys who could produce for you. Hit the waiver wire and get a replacement for him. But thats just me, other folks mileage may vary.

Tree, w/ regards to injured players... you can keep them on your roster til they are better and accure zero points or drop them and pick up a replacement. If you drop, someone else in the league may grab them. In Abrahams case, with him being out for 2 mos (7-8 games), I'd dump him like Anna Nicole's ass (Artex favorite saying)!

I don't think there's enough room on all our rosters combined to hold Anna Nicole's ass

Click the "Available Players" link located just under the Fantasy Football Banner. It's the same for picking up or dropping players as you usually do.

I feel good. I think I made some wise defense decisions today. We'll see.

I set my rosters for the next 2 sundays since I will be away from the computer unless Disney World has an internet cafe. I hope no one gets injured.

His and Hers Diaries

HER DIARY
Sunday night I thought he was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment. Conversation wasn't flowing so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk, he agreed but he kept quiet and aloof. I asked him what was wrong - he said, "Nothing." I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset.

He said it had nothing to do with me and not to worry. On the way home I told him that I loved him, he simply smiled and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior; I don't know why he didn't say, "I love you, too."
When we got home I felt as if I had lost him, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there and watched TV; he seemed distant and vacant. Finally I decided to go to bed.

About 10 minutes later he came to bed and to my surprise he responded to my caress and we made love, but I still felt that his thoughts were somewhere else. I decided that I could not take it anymore, so I decided to confront him with the situation but he had fallen asleep. I started crying and cried until I also fell asleep. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

HIS DIARY
Today the Packers lost, but at least I got laid.

Thought you all might enjoy this!

Phaedy just jinxed himself! :-) Hey man, your Niners will have a tough one against the Vikings. That's going to be a good game. I hope they hand the Vikes their first loss. They got that game on the telly down here, I'll be watching.

I'm not expecting a win against the Militia today. Too many of my starters have a bye week.
