Have a good weekend all. P.S. Only awake because my daughter cam home at 4:00 AM and is throwing up downstairs...what a thrill to have kids...lol JC” 3:37:51 AM 11/27/04 “jackcanine - The degree character can be found in most of the Character Maps. I have Windows 98. There is an icon called "Character Map." I can doubleclick on it or click on each of the sequence: Start-->Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->Character Map. Once there I select characters with a double click or by using a single click on a character and then clicking on Select. When ready I click on Copy and then paste the character(s) in the text. OR I can copy and paste from the weather forecast. Good luck with your daughter.
4:02:25 AM 11/27/04 “Yesterday, in far northern Wisconsin, we had our latest ever first snowfall. Time to throw another log on the fireplace.” 5:04:29 AM 11/27/04 “Good Morning anyone. 5 AM here, cold for Phoenix, the heat is on. Not sure why I\'m up, didn\'t sleep well at all. I was thinking of a hike today up into the Mazatzals to check out the burn from last summer, but it\'s looking doubtful, not feeling well-dang I hate this getting old. Have a good day everyone ° ° °” 6:12:36 AM 11/27/04 “I "think" I'm heading out to the Superior Hiking Trail for 4 days and 3 nights of hiking and experimentation (gear). There's enough snow on the ground that I'm forced to ask myself, "Why do you want to leave this house, this furnace, this fireplace?" I'm guessing it's because my mother left yesterday after a week long visit (or is that a "long week" visit?) and I need to hit the trail and clear my head. I'd likely make a local trip, but Minnesota's deer season is over and ours is still ripping. I'm safer there. Have a great day.” 7:40:54 AM 11/27/04 son woke me up “my 4 month old loves getting up at 7:30 and not let daddy sleep in ...ever. Sioux Falls, SD. Today: Low 32F Partly to mostly cloudy. High 37F. Winds NW at 20 to 30 mph.” 8:04:40 AM 11/27/04 “Thanks NS,,,, 30ْ here and holding... The daughter will live downstairs now moaning how she wil NEVER drink again.... Oh the joys of being 21! JC” 8:04:48 AM 11/27/04 “° is "alt 0176" on my computer.” 8:21:19 AM 11/27/04 “Chilly and wet here in north Alabama. Bitpusher and I were taking our daughters backpacking today but my kid is very sick so we cancelled the trip. I WAS going to meet Arky at the Sipsey Wildnerness today but it's forcasted to RAIN a lot today... BLAH!!” 8:34:36 AM 11/27/04 Thanks, baume 66. “jackcanine - As baume 66 suggested, you can use ALT CODES or enter the code from The HTML Coded Character Set.
9:46:12 AM 11/27/04 “It was beautifully cool here this morning; it's now pushing 70, though. Too warm for me.” 10:20:08 AM 11/27/04 “Mostly cloudy around 50 in ABQ today, winter storms coming in for the next couple of days.” 11:22:40 AM 11/27/04 “LMAO at Jack's daughter!!! I wish I had a quarter for every time promised to "never drink again"!” 5:17:07 PM 11/27/04 “Good morning. Just cause the days are shorter doesn't mean that you have to hibernate.” 3:55:30 AM 11/28/04 “Good morning! Heavy rain with high winds this morning. I'm hoping it gets better later in the afternoon so I can go for a bike ride.” 4:16:16 AM 11/28/04 “Sunny and COLD here in North Alabama. Maybe I can get outside and get some yard work done today.” 7:39:14 AM 11/28/04 “We had another cool front ( aka rain) come through, and it's beautifully cool outside.” 8:46:43 AM 11/28/04 “Good morning. Never did get to the SHT yesterday. Road was too icy and too many vehicles in the ditch. Today's chore: split some more wood and throw it in the back of the truck for improved traction. Today's weather: Snow, ice and 16 above. Today's breakfast: coffee, eggs, fried potatoes & onions, thick slab bacon. Have a good day.” 8:52:56 AM 11/28/04 “Snake Eyes - You made a good decision. Those roads were murder yesterday. And the hiking was probably quite slippery and dangerous, too. At least six die in crashes on slippery roads . last edited: 11/28/04 9:08:37 AM” 9:04:09 AM 11/28/04 “Snake Eyes-It's tough when you can't get your sht going, eh? ;)” 9:13:49 AM 11/28/04 “lol. I can get it going, it's the gathering up and getting it in one sock that's most challenging. NS - I know that area well, the road is crap in the best of times. Seems to me we "almost" beat a football team from over there when I played in High School. "Almost" was about as good as it got. last edited: 11/28/04 9:29:03 AM” 9:27:04 AM 11/28/04 “mornin yall. snowy here on the eastern edge of the Front Range. Good day to be a snowman, or at least to make one.” 9:44:51 AM 11/28/04 “Colder here this morning and the wind is picking up again. It was windy all day yesterday and rainy for most of the day. I heard a big tree come crashing down on the property yesterday. An older dead tree in the woods snapped off about 25 feet up. I cleared what I could from a stand of pine trees. I'll have to get out the chainsaw to clear the rest next weekend. Still waiting for that big snowfall in NH.” 5:31:57 AM 11/29/04 “Good morning. Are we ready for a great week?” 6:11:29 AM 11/29/04 “Republic of Korea,, I'm 14 hours ahead of the east coast............This morning it was 22 degrees with a winddddy, heavy freezing fog but warmed up to about 42 degrees and windy” 6:29:16 AM 11/29/04 “Looks like it'll be pushing 70 today. It's 54 outside right now and I wish the temperature would stay there. It's lovely!” 7:22:00 AM 11/29/04 “OK people, you're at work now, you can start posting again.” 8:02:25 AM 11/29/04 “I'm not at work, technically. ;)” 8:23:20 AM 11/29/04 “Goodmorning hugs to all!!!! Tuesday....one day closer to the weekend!!!....corprate is back :o ...computer lessons start tomorrow.....and Christmas is creeping up on us........I guess I'd best get my list made...... Y'all have a GREAT day......and be nice!!!!” 4:12:56 AM 11/30/04 Hugs “Good morning. ..... Christmas ..... Lists ...... Guess I better be nice. Hope it's not too late.” 6:20:28 AM 11/30/04 “Bleah, it's morning. I've been awake since 6, but didn't crawl out until 7. I picked up a new Millstone Kona blend light roast coffee yesterday (Sam's Club) it's suprisingly bold, but yummy. Not too high on the kick scale though, which is what I was hoping for. Maybe I need another cup.” 7:42:50 AM 11/30/04 “LMAO @ treebait. BOLD coffee! Please explain. Did it leap out of the cup at you?” 8:12:20 AM 11/30/04 “I've been drinking shy coffee lately, but I'm considering sending it to assertiveness training.” 8:21:06 AM 11/30/04 “LOL, Good Morning - ya bunchanuts!” 8:36:06 AM 11/30/04 “That's BOLD coffee!” 8:38:28 AM 11/30/04 F “I get it! Laughing at myself. BOLD Coffee! = Strong Coffee” 8:53:01 AM 11/30/04 Hugs. “Good morning. Welcome to Trail Talk, Matt's National Backpacking, News and TV Program Review Forum. If it happens on the trail, appeared in newspapers or showed on TV, you'll hear about it here. Have a great day.” 6:42:21 AM 12/01/04 “so now I polishedmy right hand's fingernails french manucure style, but forgot to polish my left hand...I have no time to do it now. Oh boy...Morning!! What a start already. LOL It's okay, I am in a good mood :) I really, really think I'll be going to germany over christmas. I am so excited. I hope I scan sneak away to get some hiking done there. (Doubt it though...) that will be hard for me not to do, hike in germany. last edited: 12/01/04 7:31:04 AM” 7:29:52 AM 12/01/04 Temp: 55°F “ Brrr. Crisp, icy fingers of winter have crept into Melbourne, FL. for a couple of days. Last night was still t-shirt weather, but this morning it is chilly. The daytime 71 will be OK, but low 50's at night will be coolish. By Sunday temperatures will be returning to near normal and next week we'll be back with mid-60's to lower-80's.Have a great weekend. last edited: 12/03/04 6:43:03 AM” 6:40:46 AM 12/03/04 “Good morning. Really need the coffee today. It got down to 3 degrees last night, but up to 19 at present. Have to make some plans about what to do with myself for today. Right now I can't see beyond the desire for coffee. Have a good one.” 6:58:16 AM 12/03/04 “Brrr. Crisp, icy fingers of winter have crept into Melbourne, FL. for a couple of days. Do people in Florida walk around in down jackets when it gets that 'cold'? It's finally snowing here. We should only get an inch or two of the white stuff, but at least it's snowing!” 7:03:28 AM 12/03/04 “Things are hovering at the freezing point in metro detroit. We have a small amount of snow overnight, and many of the roads freezed up. 2 freeways shut down right now, and too many other accidents to count. My drive in wasn't bad at all, though. Just a little bit slow. But to make things worse, I woke up with a horrible pain in my neck. I have very limited range of motion right now, and my head feels like a lead weight on my neck. I"ve already popped some motrin, I may need something stronger. Ug.” 7:15:19 AM 12/03/04 skiracer “Dawn? No, mostly mink! We do get 2-3 days of nighttime temperatures around freezing about three times each winter. When it is cold, fashion goes out the window. Everyone wears whatever remains of their northern, winter clothing from yesteryear. Good luck, there, Smiley Girl. last edited: 12/03/04 7:19:22 AM” 7:17:28 AM 12/03/04 “outch, i think i just got a cramp in my jaw from yawning... Morning!! cold here, around 33 degrees.” 7:24:08 AM 12/03/04 “Chilly 28 degrees this morning, but sunny. I'm soo tired. Stayed out too late last night goin on 3hrs sleep today. I wish it would snow. It's December and we haven't had the first flake yet.” 7:25:39 AM 12/03/04 Oh contrare...(sp?) “I know a few flakes in Indiana...j/k” 7:29:02 AM 12/03/04 Happy Friday! “I just wish the ground would freeze for good! I'm tired of making our two stupid dogs wipe their feet when they come in. =) MRI this morning! I'm so happy to be finally finding out what's going to happen with my boo-boo foot. Did some online research about the common surgery for torn tendons and it sounds like a piece of cake with a short recovery time. Hopefully my Dr will get the MRI results quickfast. I get to go and collect my last paycheck today, cross yer fingers for me and hope I win check pool!” 7:33:03 AM 12/03/04 “its 30° and sunny in Nashville, yesterday the low was 28°. I haven't even put my heat on yet. My apt stays stuffy. Last night I had to put on the A/C for about an hour.” 7:35:45 AM 12/03/04 “ouch my ears just popped. I think I am coming down with a cold or something. that would really suck! Okay, who is serving the hot java? Mine got cold while checking email.” 7:46:24 AM 12/03/04 “I have about half a cup left. It's pretty strong though.” 7:56:40 AM 12/03/04 Jump to Page << prev
