LOLOL!!” 8:47:36 AM 12/10/02 “I wish!” 8:51:47 AM 12/10/02 “In late today. This morning, I backed my truck up just a little too far, and the rear wheels ended up on the rain-soaked grass. An hour and half, and $45 later, I had them back up on the pavement so I could drive to work. I've had better mornings. At least there's coffee....” 9:38:58 AM 12/10/02 “coffee, coffee, coffee” 9:40:35 AM 12/10/02 “Good Morning Bit, i hope your day gets better!!” 9:40:49 AM 12/10/02 “Oh, it wasn't too bad. It could have been worse, like the tow truck guy said, if it had been all the way down in the yard, it wouldn't have been pretty getting it out. I figure I did the smart thing quitting when I did and just calling the tow truck.” 10:50:43 AM 12/10/02 “Did someone mention coffee? We are due for another ice storm situation tomorrow. I would really prefer snow. Can I ask for snow, huh guys?” 3:54:50 PM 12/10/02 “Ask all ya want. Probably still get ice though...” 3:56:23 PM 12/10/02 Morning everyone!!!! “I guess we are having a nice day today. In the 50's. now......coffeeeeeee......” 5:21:37 AM 12/11/02 “the blinding eye in the sky is nigh where are my sunglasses?” 5:32:35 AM 12/11/02 “I have the need for Kafeen!!!! 8\” 5:39:41 AM 12/11/02 “Ain't no blinding eye in the sky in this neck of the woods. Looks pretty dense out in the cloud cover. Have to get coffee and check the weather forecast.” 5:56:28 AM 12/11/02 “Where was my wake up call??? I'm late!!!” 6:00:01 AM 12/11/02 “No blinding eye up here, either. Just the "red sky in morning, sailor take warning" look. Forecast calls for some pretty nasty stuff tonight and tomorrow. Only good thing about an ice storm is that I might get to sleep in tomorrow. Y'all be careful, Lyndy. From what I hear, God is not going to be smiling on New Jersey yoday.” 6:04:08 AM 12/11/02 6:06:13 AM 12/11/02 “Ice is due here between 10 and noon. There could be a quarter to half inch of ice. Sounds nasty if that happens.” 6:14:13 AM 12/11/02 “Oh man! Another decision! Last thursday I sent the kids into school, half the parents kept their kids home, so they did didly squat in the way of school work. So again, do I just keep them home today where they will be safe? Or trust that the town will have the sanders and salters out in force. GRrrrrrr!” 6:48:14 AM 12/11/02 “Accuweather shows the whole state of PA covered with freezing rain.” 7:01:44 AM 12/11/02 “Don't think the ice storm will really hit my area, too close to the water. Oh well. Hope you come up with a safe plan, Lyndy.” 7:02:07 AM 12/11/02 “Good morning, all you lovely people. Have an enjoyable day. The sun just broke through the clouds here.” 7:39:06 AM 12/11/02 “Ice all over Baltimore. County schools closed. The university is one hour late and foot commuting was hazardous. The walks are all ice....” 7:43:51 AM 12/11/02 “Looks like a nasty storm...big un. You all be careful out there! I'm on my way to the Dr today with the little one. She's miserable, her cold returned with a vengence and morphed into an earache or sinus infection or something. Poor baby's got a raging fever and is sedate. I know somethings wrong when she only wants to sit on the couch and watch elmo! Will the sickness never leave my home??! Seems to be a never ending loop lately.” 7:46:15 AM 12/11/02 “Better get that sickness out of there before we all come over, Sass! BTW, I'll drop off my gift tomorrow or Friday.” 7:47:26 AM 12/11/02 “Sorry about your little one, Sass. How old is she? My younger daughter started to be sick constantly when she turned two. After a year and a half of antibiotics, we had her tonsils and adenoids out. She is much healthier now than her older sis who still has all her parts. Hang in there, toddlers are notorious for being sick a lot. I took the kids to school and talked to the teachers. Rumor was that they were closing early, but the teachers were concerned that they weren't closing early enough. They have to leave after the kids leave, and drive to wherever. On a positive note, the town trucks were out throwing a heavy layer of salt down. I'm sure that sand will be a second layer later in the day.” 8:12:43 AM 12/11/02 Hey Tilt “My bro-in-law shops at thinkgeek all the time. He has the caffeine molecule t-shirt, and has tried the "Bawls" stuff. Tastes weird, but a seeeerious caffiene hit from 1/3 of a bottle for me. The bottle is neat. I noticed it's shapes like a "textured" condom.” 8:40:02 AM 12/11/02 “A foot of snow here and it's still coming down. At least it's light and fluffy, but I heard it's wetter and icier down in the valley, where I'm s'posed to be going sometime today. Haven't seen hide nor hair of a snowplow yet. Gotta finish my coffee and go break out the shovel. Catch y'all later.” 5:58:26 AM 12/12/02 “Good Morin all, why am i at work at 7:00am? oh i forgot, i like the money!!!” 6:06:27 AM 12/12/02 “Morning Maple..hope you have a good day..I need to be at work soon myself..just can't get my act together!!!” 6:10:41 AM 12/12/02 “Good morning all. We have ice outside, but it doesn't look too bad. A big branch came down onto the driveway, but other than that the trees survived.” 6:12:50 AM 12/12/02 you to crazy “I had to come in early and wrap gifts. yes you heard correct. I get to wrap booze and presents for the big bosses. boy its grand being the little guy” 6:13:51 AM 12/12/02 “This weather was crazy yesterday and last night. Freezing rain and sleet yesterday and last night changed over to snow with 6 more inches by morning. Some highways here were closed this morning because the roads were frozen over and then snow covered. It looks beautiful outside hanging in the trees, but it's mess for driving. Most schools are closed.” 6:19:35 AM 12/12/02 Treebait!! “Bawls bottle shaped like a WHAT? LOLOLOLOLOL You realize of course that those, uh... "whatchamacallits"... haven't much shape By Themselves, LOLOLOL <SPUTTER> <GAG> <COUGH> (tooooooooooooo early in the morning for this...!!) I hope the ice situation is better today (Nowslimmer and his 'killer clouds'... Sheesh!)” 6:23:36 AM 12/12/02 “Good morning, everyone. Enjoy your day. It will be yesterday, tomorrow. Something's wrong with an eye, made an appointment with my eye surgeon for later today. 6 more days of work, and this I wanted to avoid.” 6:52:34 AM 12/12/02 “morning yall. I am up since 6! Can't wait for school vaction to start. My coffee is already cold. someone bring me a fresh one!!” 6:54:37 AM 12/12/02 “Good luck with the eye, Nowslimmer, hope it's nothing too big and it gets fixed. Wow, that's some balmy weather you're having down there! Sweet! I think I'll take my colder weather up here in Jersey instead though. :-)” 7:00:39 AM 12/12/02 “just listend to the news. we spose to have a sunny 61 degrees on monday. Hmm, x-mas is coming up right?” 7:22:27 AM 12/12/02 “Gosh, its going to be sunny with above normal temps today! A high of 42! Be still my heart! Sass, how's Abby-doodle?” 7:29:53 AM 12/12/02 “She's doing better. The doctor couldn't find anything to be causing her fever. They swear that teething cannot cause fevers and treat you like a pyscho when you mention she has four eyeteeth coming in at once...."No, those teeth wouldn't cause a fever!! Teething can't cause fevers". Whatever, I think there's millions of moms who'd disagree. Anyways, she's fever-less today and has her pep back. Thanks for asking! LyndyS, She will be two in late January.” 8:21:27 AM 12/12/02 sassafras “Teeth do too cause fevers! Each time my brother or I had a tooth coming in we'd have a fever, coughing, and major runny nose. When the tooth cut through, everything went away. Tilt-finally read that post I see!” 9:06:44 AM 12/12/02 “Both my kids had fevers everytime they cut a tooth. You'd think the doctors would at least learn to nod their heads in agreement.” 9:08:56 AM 12/12/02 “Me too Treebait...up to 104, everytime!” 10:49:48 AM 12/12/02 “Glad that Abby is better today Sass. My kids didn't have fevers when cutting a tooth, but they sure were angry little cusses. They could have a screaming ear infection and not have a fever though. Actually they have fevers more now as big kids than they did as toddlers.” 11:19:40 AM 12/12/02 “well 13 hrs later and im still at work. then I get to come back in 11 hrs. lucky me :(” 7:11:30 PM 12/12/02 “you get to go home maple? I wanna see my union rep!” 3:40:46 AM 12/13/02 Good morning!!! “rainy day today. Oh, and friday the 13th. :)” 5:36:33 AM 12/13/02 “Yep! Rained all night here. I think I'll have a cuppa joe and watch the flash flood watches pop up on the tube. Two minutes 'til Washington Journal! Falwell was on yesterday... today it's the online editor of National Review. And Yes, Treebait, I do get back around to everything eventually... except maybe the Basketball Thread, LOL” 5:56:03 AM 12/13/02 Jump to Page << prev
