I have three caterpillars and two eggs and one milkweed plant (had to hose my second with permethrin to kill the aphids, who were gobbling up monarch eggs). I think the two eggs I have will travel up North with us. Can't expect Birch to be watching caterpillar eggs while ripping out walls, etc. And I can't expect five caterpillars to share one plant.
