Sass, I hope that Abby is feeling better today. I had a daughter home Monday and Tuesday with an ear infection. She is ten and seems to get them more often, not less often now. A mystery. On the bright side, this same daughter was in the geography bee with 21 other 4th and 5th graders, which was whittled down from 220 kids in total. She lasted to the round with 15 kids, and then she and three others had their second missed answer and had to exit. These kids were so sharp that the principle and teachers ran out of questions, and this is a national event. Our winner goes on to compete for the county or the state, and then the state winner goes on to an all-state competition.
