Plus, you may never wake up. :)” 7:46:44 AM 5/07/03 “Ummm...yes. Waking up again (ever) will be tricky, though.” 7:46:56 AM 5/07/03 “>.< i dun care...it might be worth it. Maybe I have sars? what are the symptoms supposed to be?” 7:49:20 AM 5/07/03 “Pretty doubtful you have SARS. I don't know what all the symptoms are, but a fever is one of them. No fever, no SARS.” 7:50:27 AM 5/07/03 “You cough up your lungs. I think you're right, you have SARS.” 7:50:35 AM 5/07/03 “smiley I had a fever last night at work, it sucked :S” 7:53:23 AM 5/07/03 “95 for the high here today, and the ac for the downstairs tanked, of course. Gotta blow the bucks to get that fixed. HPM is off at a job interview this morning. Wish him luck.” 9:01:16 AM 5/07/03 “Very high fever, dry cough.” 9:01:41 AM 5/07/03 “Also, diarhea and severe exhaustion.” 9:04:18 AM 5/07/03 I Just Got Home From A Concert “I'm tired.” 1:08:02 AM 5/08/03 “Morning :} dont drink too much of that nyquil free24, it will rebound on you and keep you awake and very wired for several hours....” 2:46:29 AM 5/08/03 And Now I Gotta Get Up And Go To Work “Dang...NOW I'm tired!!!” 4:33:59 AM 5/08/03 “Ah, the wages of sin, LOL” 5:55:03 AM 5/08/03 “Morning, kids!” 6:08:54 AM 5/08/03 “not so loud, <G>” 6:23:29 AM 5/08/03 “Tilt - shall I assume that you're not a morning person? lol” 6:26:33 AM 5/08/03 “That Astronomy thing sometimes interferes with the Morning Person thing, <G>. I was raised by a family of nightowls, so I think it's genetic, too.” 6:35:05 AM 5/08/03 “Aha! Another non-morning person. Thank goodness Tara will have someone else to bug. :)” 7:11:10 AM 5/08/03 “Buddur has SARS! Buddur has SARS! I feel like Chicken Little.” 7:52:37 AM 5/08/03 “I got to work early enough to sneak more ground coffee into the coffee maker after another guy made the first pot. He always makes it too weak!” 8:12:41 AM 5/08/03 “I have my own coffee maker at work so I can make it high-test if I want. We're getting a new coffee vendor here at work, and they had a taste-testing a couple of weeks ago. I tried the strongest stuff they had, and it was still weaker than what I make right here. It is, however, leaps and bounds better than the stuff we have right now, so it'll be good for those days when I have run out of my own coffee.” 8:30:08 AM 5/08/03 “FREEDOM ROAST! <G>” 8:35:56 AM 5/08/03 “We got our new coffee maker in the mail yesterday. I think I like pressed coffee better now.” 8:43:39 AM 5/08/03 “Yep! They can be addictive. I used a press for a while, but I started putting in a little more, and a little more... It never quite got to the Eva Gabor Stage, but it was heading that way.” 8:51:26 AM 5/08/03 WhooooHoooo! “Someone just brought in two bags of doughnuts; Mini-crullers and Powdered Gems! Just when I thought life couldn't get any better!” 8:55:05 AM 5/08/03 “Mini-donuts White powder falling It dusts my chair mat lightly See my waistline grow” 8:59:22 AM 5/08/03 “Sugar-Coated Death, LOL” 9:00:22 AM 5/08/03 “I'm still sticking to decaf, but I must have it every morning just like the hi-test stuff. Saturday the coffee maker burnt out. So I went out and got a mother's day present early, a cuisinart coffee bean grinder/coffee maker all in one. It is pretty cool and the grinder sends the cats up the wall.” 9:01:03 AM 5/08/03 “Cool. I wonder if there's a way to wire it up to go off whenever the cat gets into the houseplants. If so, I must have one.” 9:02:42 AM 5/08/03 “Those infra-red motion detector switches would probably serve quite nicely, skully...” 9:04:03 AM 5/08/03 “Heeheehee, don't tell G00SE about those or he'll have one wired to some kind of electric shock device before the end of the day. He did express a wish that the tree in the dining room was a Whomping Willow. That'd teach her.” 9:06:25 AM 5/08/03 “lessee, seems I have a phone number around here somewhere...” 9:07:58 AM 5/08/03 “Nooooooo! Oh why did I give you that number? LOL!” 9:09:13 AM 5/08/03 “Poor kitty. I'll miss her.” 9:10:52 AM 5/08/03 “How about a taser with an infrared... nevermind, <G>” 9:11:06 AM 5/08/03 “For a less-dangerous solution, one of those electronic ribbiting frogs would probably work until the cat got used to it.” 9:14:46 AM 5/08/03 “I love freaking one of my cats out. He's hilarious. There's been a lot of drilling and sawing going on lately, so its been quite a hoot. The other one is much too sensitive, and I try to protect her. (Guess I have a favorite, huh?)” 9:18:01 AM 5/08/03 “Well actually, we were thinking of using duct tape, sticky side up, placed on the dining room table and on the baker's rack shelves. She's getting up there at night and we need something that will traumatize her without hurting her and also will be self-correcting. We were also thinking clear plastic trays with water in them.” 9:20:07 AM 5/08/03 “I'm having a bad flashback to the seinfeld episode when Elaine put the 'hit' on the barking dog --- and the 'hitman' was NEWMAN.” 9:21:35 AM 5/08/03 “If you're wanting a sticky solution, then maybe those sticky mousetrap sheets, if you can still find them, might be the answer. I don't know what it takes to get something off one of those things, but it's probably not too bad. It does, however, bring to mind the scene in "Forget Paris" where Debra Winger is driving to the vet's office with a pigeon stuck to her head...” 9:23:16 AM 5/08/03 “No, the mouse sheets are too sticky. We don't want to hotwax the poor thing. G00SE usually remembers every Seinfeld episode that ever aired. I'm really surprised (and glad!)this hasn't reminded him of that one yet.” 9:26:06 AM 5/08/03 “contact paper - sticky side up. enough stick to bother them, but not enough to get them stuck. its wider than tape, so its easier to cover a larger area.” 9:26:45 AM 5/08/03 “Skull- put mousetraps under foil...it scares em without hurting them (used that to train the cats away from my houseplants)” 9:28:02 AM 5/08/03 “Well, we're trying to be as invisible as possible so she'll think of the dining room table and bakers rack as the hazard and not just look to see what's on it. I don't want her to start right back up as soon as the correction device is removed. I really like the contact paper idea, and it's available in clear. Thanks Smiley!” 9:33:24 AM 5/08/03 butpusher “Yes, sticky mouse traps work as cat deterrents, but you can't pull them off the cat. THey must be trimmed off. I had a cat sit on a glue trap once, while I was in school. My mom's cleaning lady had to use scissors to trim it off his rear. My black cat had a pale pink bottom for quite some time. IT was not attractive.” 10:46:10 AM 5/08/03 “I had one walk in a trap too. It was a real chore cutting the trap away from her little paw. No good.” 11:35:58 AM 5/08/03 Good Morning! “It's Friday and it's PAYDAY! WooHoo! =D” 7:56:24 AM 5/09/03 “It's friday, Mother's day is this weekend and I now qualify, and I want to bug out of here so freakin' bad. Looking at Wd and SirPete's pics didn't help my resolve to hang around.” 9:47:05 AM 5/09/03 “Take a hike! <G>” 9:55:02 AM 5/09/03 “post number 2500... time to wake up you lazy bastards!! 3:24 am, time for all good people to be awake and get to work.” 3:38:02 AM 5/11/03 Jump to Page << prev
