Crashed my mountain bike for the first time yesterday! Going over 2 9"? diameter tree trunks. Got the front tire over then BAM! My body is lots of pretty colors this morning. Slept with ice packs on elbow and hip. The funniest are the pedal marks regularly spaced all the way down my right leg. :+}

At least the bikes not hurt. Love my bike. For my first it was economical. Giant Iguana hardtail w/disc brakes.

“I saw what happened - AMAZING!! Beloki was just ahead of Lance as they raced downhill to try to close the gap on the leader. Not a minute after the announcer pointed out how the tar on the road was melting in the heat, causing slippery conditions, Beloki's rear wheel slid sideways, his tire came off, and down he went. Lance veered off the road to the left into a field, figured "what the heck," and took a slight shortcut across the field to bypass the upcoming hairpin turn. Of course, he had to dismount and leap over a ditch with his bike to get back onto the road, but did so just in time to ride the rest of the way in with the chase pack and maintain the overall lead. Un-freakin'-believable!!!”
